Additionally, by using our any of Sites or Services you expressly agree that your use or access of our Sites or Services, and any dispute over our online privacy practices, is governed by this Privacy Notice, our Terms of Services and our Legal Disclaimer. 2. Types of Information We Gather

We may collect information regarding customer activities on our Sites and from our Services. The information we collect may be collected directly by us, or it may be collected by a vendor providing contractual services to us. 

  • Information You Provide to Us. We may collect, analyze and store information that you voluntarily supply to us while using our Sites or Services. You provide most of such information when you view, search, buy, post, communicate with our customer service, register, or participate in a questionnaire, surveys, forums, contests or a sweepstakes. Some examples of the types of information that may be collected or stored include: information you provide when you search for a product, place an order through any of our Sites or Services; provide information in your account (and you might have more than one if you have used more than one email address when shopping with us); communicate with us by phone, email, website inquiry or otherwise; sign up to receive newsletters or other communication from us; complete a questionnaire entry form; provide information when you post on blogs, discussion forums or other community posting and social networking areas accessed through any one of our Sites or Services; information and content you provide when you upload a photograph, video or audio file; information that you electronically submit when you complete an online registration form to access and use certain features of any one of our Sites or Services; information that you provide within an advertisement on any one of our Sites or Services; and information contained in search requests that you submit through any of our Sites or Services. As a result of those actions, you might supply us with information, including, without limitation, your name, address, your company name and address, email, phone numbers; credit card information; passwords; people to whom purchases have been shipped, including addresses and phone numbers; email addresses of your friends and other people; content of reviews and emails; and certain financial information.

  • Automatic Information. We may collect, analyze and store information that is generated automatically as you use any of our Sites or Services. Some examples of the information we collect and analyze may include, among others, the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer or other devices to the Internet, browser type, version and the location and time zone where our Sites or Services are used; browser plug-in types and versions, login; passwords; email addresses; occupation; language; zip code; area code; unique device identifier; and the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, through, and from our Sites or Services, including date and time. We may also collect and analyze your device type, operating system, and platform; purchase history, which we may sometimes aggregate; cookie number; products you viewed or searched for; which features of our Sites or Services you interact with and how often, and the phone number you used to contact us. This information is collected so that we can better understand customer behavior and improve our products, services and advertisements. 

To help us make emails more useful and interesting, we often receive a confirmation when you open email from us if your computer supports such capabilities. If you do not want to receive email you have the opportunity to unsubscribe directly from the email or contact us by using the method set out in Section 12 of this Privacy Policy. Please note, this option does not apply to communications primarily for the purpose of administering business relationships, including orders, contracts, support, or other administrative and transactional notices where the primary purpose of these communications is not promotional in nature.

In some of our email messages, we use a “click-through URL” linked to content on one of our Sites. When customers click one of these URLs, they pass through a separate web server before arriving at the destination page on our website. We track this click-through data to help us determine interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of our customer communications. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, you should not click on the text or graphic links in the email messages.

We may collect information about how you use our Sites or Services, including downloading of apps or when you use a desktop product feature that takes you online. We may also use browser data such as cookies, information generated when you upload a photograph, video or audio file, Flash cookies (also known as Flash Local Shared Objects), or similar data on certain parts of our Sites or Services for loss prevention, fraud prevention and other purposes. We may collect, analyze and store details of how you use our Sites or Services, including search queries. This information may be used to improve the relevancy of results provided by our Sites or Services.

During some visits we may use software tools such as JavaScript to measure and collect session information, including page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page. We may also collect technical information to help us identify your device for fraud prevention and diagnostic purposes.

  • Information from Other Sources. We may receive information about you from third-party sources, such as public databases, social media platforms, third-party data providers and our marketing partners. Some examples of such information include account information, purchase or redemption information, and page-view information from some merchants who provide technical, fulfillment, advertising, or other services; search term and search result information from some searches conducted through the Web search features offered by Alexa Internet or similar services; search results and links, including paid listings (such as Sponsored Links). We may also receive updated delivery and address information from our carriers or other third parties, which we use to update or correct our records to deliver your next purchase or communication more easily. Online and/or offline information received from third parties may be combined with the information already collected from you via any of our Sites or Services.

  • Advertising. We may collect information about you for internal or external marketing and promotional purposes. We may advertise online in a variety of ways, including displaying NIDO ads to you across the Internet on websites and in apps. We collect information about which ads are displayed, which ads are clicked on, and on which web page the ad was displayed either directly or through a third-party service provider.

3. How We Use Information About You

The information about you is used by us for such purposes as communicating with you, effective operation, administrative, financial, legal, and quality improvement activities. We discuss those uses in greater detail below:

  • To provide you goods, services, features and functionality, keep you posted on our latest product announcements, updates, and upcoming events, provide you information, customize your shopping experience, improve our Sites and Services, communicate with you regarding your account, purchases or otherwise respond to your requests or questions, provide customer support, and for purposes of reducing fraud, software piracy, and to protect you and our clients as well as us. We may share your information with any agent or company that is affiliated with NIDO in order to operate the Sites or Services or advertising or to communicate with you on our behalf. Such entities may have access to your information needed to perform their functions for us but they may not use it for other purposes.

  • For business operation and management, research, marketing or promotional purposes or press inquiries. We may share your information with third-party advertisers and advertising networks or others with whom we have a contractual relationship. For example, we may employ other companies and individuals to perform certain functions on our behalf. Some examples of such functions include, without limitation, sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance to us, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), and providing customer service to our customers. Such entities may have access to your information needed to perform their functions for us but they may not use it for other purposes. 

  • We may use third-party web analytics services on our Services, such as those of Google Analytics or a similar service. These service providers use the sort of technology described above under "Automatic Information," to help us analyze how users use our Sites or Services, including by noting the third-party website from which you arrive. The information (including your IP address) collected by the technology will be disclosed to or collected directly by these service providers, who use the information to evaluate your use of the Services. We may also use Google Analytics for certain purposes related to business administration, such as advertising.   • We may sometimes use third-party services and tools to help us understand and improve our marketing campaigns. For example, we may run an ad campaign on a social media site that requires us to share some data about user activity in order to help us understand and measure its effect. We may also use third-party services and tools to analyze our performance on social media sites. Third-party services that help us understand and improve our marketing campaigns may have access to your information needed to perform their functions for us but they may not use it for other purposes.     • Certain websites and devices allow you to limit or minimize the amount of information collected about you. Look for “Limit Ad Tracking” for your browser, device or website to limit or minimize the data collection. 

    • Some of the third-party services providers and/or advertisers may be members of the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") or the Digital Advertising Alliance ("DAA") Self-Regulatory Program for Online Behavioral Advertising. You can visit, which provides information regarding targeted advertising and the "opt-out" procedures of NAI members. You should be aware that opting out through the aforementioned organizations does not stop online advertising. Not only will you continue to receive non-specific ads while online or when using your device but you may still continue to receive certain specific ads targeting you from those companies that do not participate with the organizations referenced above.

  • You can always remove yourself from an email distribution list by sending us an email to or click on the unsubscribe link directly in any email.

  • If you enter credit card information on any one of our Sites in connection with a purchase, that information is sent directly from your browser to the third-party service provider we use to manage credit card processing and we do not store it on our servers. Those third parties collect billing information to process your orders and credit card payments. The service provider is not permitted to use the information you provide except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on our behalf.

  • To comply with our internal review and business planning needs.

  • To comply with our legal obligations, (including, without limitations, complying with court orders, valid discovery requests, valid subpoenas, and other appropriate legal mechanisms), meet regulatory requirements, or resolve customer dispute. 

  • To comply with law enforcement requirements. We may disclose your information when we believe that such disclosure is appropriate in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, for credit risk reduction, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of this Privacy Policy, Terms of Service or Disclaimer, or to protect the rights and property of NIDO, our employees, users and the public. This may involve the sharing of your information with law enforcement, government agencies, courts, and/or other organizations. This may also include developing tools and algorithms that help us prevent violations. If requested by law enforcement we may retain personal information for an additional limited period of time beyond what is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. 

  • To provide information to representatives and advisors, such as attorneys and accountants, to help us comply with legal, accounting, or security requirements. 

  • To prosecute and defend a court, arbitration, or similar legal proceeding.

  • To send you system alert messages.

  • To provide support and improve the Sits and Services we offer on our Sites. This also includes aggregating information from your use of the Sites or Services and sharing such aggregated information with third parties.

  • To transfer information in connection with any merger, consolidation, reorganization, or a sale of some or all NIDO’s assets, or a financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company. In those cases, your information will likely be one of the assets that is transferred.

  • To provide you with an opportunity to participate in a contest or sweepstakes. From time to time we may offer surveys, contests, sweepstakes, or other promotions on our Sites or through social media (collectively “Our Promotions”). Participation in Our Promotions is completely voluntary. Information requested for entry may include personal contact information like your name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address, username, and similar details. We use the information you provide to administer Our Promotions. Unless prohibited by the Promotion’s rules or law, we may also use the information provided to communicate with you, or other people you select, about our Services. We may share this information with our affiliates and other organizations or service providers, such as our contest advertisers, operators, or sponsors, and the use of that information will be governed by those advertisers’, operators’, or sponsors’ privacy policies or practices.

We store this information in our servers and the servers of companies we hire to provide services to us. We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is necessary or permitted by law.

4. Cookies 

The following discusses how we use cookies on our Sites and Services and ways you can manage, control or delete them. 

  • About Cookies. A cookie is a small data file created and placed by a website on your computer or a mobile device whenever you visit the website using those devices. Your browser or device holds these cookies and makes them available every time you visit a site again so that it can recognize your user preferences and remember important information about your site visit, such as, for example, which browser you used and how you came to our Site or Service. Each time the browser requests a page from the server this message is sent back which enables the user’s usage of the site, access and preferences to be identified. The use of cookies and similar technologies is common and widely used by websites to make the user’s next visit to a website easier and less frustrating.


  • How We Use Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies, including mobile application identifiers, web beacons and pixel tags, in order to personalize your visit to our Sites and Services, enhance your experience by gaining a better understanding of your interests, customizing our pages for you, help you navigate between pages, administer our Sites and Services, increase our security and measure the use and effectiveness of our services. We may also use the information provided by cookies and IP addresses to analyze trends, or for business operation, management, research and marketing purposes to help us better serve our customers. 

  • First-Party Cookies; Third-Party Cookies. First-party cookies belong to us. Certain pages on our Sites and Services may embed content from third party sites, such as YouTube or Instagram, for example. Third-party sites that provide such services can embed cookies on your devices. At your request, our Sites and Services may also allow content sharing and contact through social media networks. Embedding and sharing content may result in cookies being set by those third party sites. We do not control the placement or dissemination of those third-party cookies.   • Cookie Control. You can control cookie placement and choose not to provide or limit the information provided to us. 5. Links and Buttons

Our Sites and Services may contain links to other websites belonging to third-parties, clients, other websites, products or services of interest to our users. For example, our Sites and Services may include buttons, tools, or content that link to other companies’ services (for example, Instagram, Twitter plug-ins, a Facebook "Like" button and similar social media buttons). We may collect information about your use of these features. In addition, when you see or interact with these buttons, tools, content, or view our Sites or Services containing them, some information from your browser may automatically be sent to those third-parties. We have no control over the information your browser may be sending to any such third-parties. Please see Section 4 above for more information on third-party cookies and how to control, manage or delete them. 

We may also maintain presences on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram or other social media sites. Any information, communications, or materials you submit to us via a social media platform is done at your own risk without any expectation of privacy. We cannot control the actions of other users of these platforms or the actions of the platforms themselves. Your interactions with those features and platforms are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those third-party websites.  

6. Security

We understand that the security of your personal information is important. We provide commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security controls to protect your personal information. Despite our efforts, however, since the Internet is not a 100% secure environment no security controls are 100% effective and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of your personal information, or assure you that information that we collect will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards, nor can we guarantee that information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. Under no circumstances will be held responsible or liable for information or transmissions that are accessed by third parties illegally or without authorization through or from our Sites or Services. It is your responsibility to protect by any means the security of your login information and unauthorized access to your computer or other electronic device. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer and always use a strong password. 

7. Children Under 18

If you are under 18, please do not use this site. We do not knowingly collect information from children or create profiles of children and disclaim any and all responsibility and liability in connection with such use. Users are cautioned that the collection of information through the use of our Sites or Services or submitted in an email will be treated as though it was submitted by an adult. We strongly encourage parents and teachers to be involved in children's Internet activities and to provide guidance whenever children are asked to provide information online.

8. Your California Privacy Rights

We do not currently recognize or respond to browser-initiated Do Not Track signals as the industry is currently still working on Do Not Track standards, implementations and solutions.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our customers with an established business relationship who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year for the purpose of direct marketing by the third parties. To make such a request please contact us by using the method set out in Section 12 of this Privacy Policy. In your correspondence please reference that you are making a request pursuant to the California’s Shine the Light Act.

9. EU Data Subject Notice

If data is processed in the European Economic Area, you may be entitled to request information from us regarding how your personal data is stored by us, access your personal data, know how your personal data will be shared or used and how long it will be stored, to object or restrict processing of your personal data, have your personal data transferred, corrected, restricted, deleted and blocked by us, in accordance with applicable laws. We can only process requests from a user whose identity has been verified. 10. Personal Information Stored in the United States; Consent to Transfer

Please be aware that any personal information you disclose to us may be transferred, stored, maintained or processed on servers or databases in the United States. By using our Sites or Services, you understand, consent and agree that the collection, use, transfer, maintenance, processing and disclosure of your personal information will be governed by the applicable laws in the United States where privacy laws may not be as comprehensive as those in the country where you reside or are a citizen. You also understand, acknowledge and consent that the U.S. government can obtain access to the personal information you submit if necessary for investigative purposes. We will take commercially reasonable steps necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may aggregate and/or de-identify your information so that the information no longer relates to you individually. Our use and disclosure of such aggregated or de-identified information is not subject to this Privacy Policy, and may be disclosed to others without limitation and for any purpose.
